My Method

Western Tropical Astrology

I use Western Tropical Astrology.  Western, as opposed to Eastern (Vedic, Indian, Chinese, etc.) means that I use the Western (Sumerian, Babylonian, Egyptian, Greek, Roman, European) tradition, mythology, and symbols.  Tropical means that I recognize 0 degrees of Aries as the section of sky rising at the Vernal Equinox, regardless of the location of the constellation Aries.  Due to the precession of the equinoxes, the constellation Pisces currently occupies that location.

Client Participation is Required

I do not do "readings" in which I tell you what your chart means.  There are an infinite number of ways that I natal chart may be expressed, and only you know how those possibilities apply to you.  I can only describe possible outcomes and energy patterns.

Non-Judgment Zone

Just as there are no "bad" dogs, there are no "bad" or "unevolved" signs and no "bad" or "defective" charts!  There is only your chart and it is absolutely perfect!  Otherwise, it would not belong to you.  There are "easier" charts, and more "challenging" charts, just as there are easier lives and harder life circumstances.

Predictions and the "Fate V. Free Will" Debate

I never make "set in stone" predictions about the future- there is just way too much complexity in life and too many possible outcomes to dare to single out one option as inevitable.  What I can do is describe upcoming energy shifts and opportunities/challenges.    I do believe in the existence of a magnificent, mysterious power some call "fate", but we all have free will as well.

Empowerment

I believe astrology is all about personal empowerment.  Astrology gives people the power to make healthier, more honest and informed decisions and embrace life strategies that "work" because they are based on your innate abilities, needs and wants.   "Forewarned is Forearmed"- the more knowledge the better.

Change is Inevitable

The only thing we can absolutely be sure of is that nothing stays the same forever.  Astrology is all about change and cycles.  No matter how challenging and difficult a current situation is, eventually it will end, and something new will take its place.
